AKOKO NORTH-WEST CHAIRMAN, ESAN OWOLABI, APPOINTS NEW SUPERVISORY COUNCILORS , ADVISERS.

In a move aimed at strengthening grassroots governance and improving service delivery, the Executive Chairman of Akoko Northwest Local Government Area, Hon. Esan Owolabi, has announced the appointment of new Supervisory Councilors and Advisers across various wards in the local government.
The appointments, which takes immediate effect, are part of the administration’s commitment to promoting inclusive governance and accelerating development at the community level.
According to a statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the Executive Chairman, Olagoke Adeyanju, the newly appointed officials are:
Shola Abiola – Ward 1
Tope Fagbemi Jacob – Ward 4
Mrs. Opeyemi Bukola Umoru – Ward 5
Babalola Oluremi – Ward 6
Owolabi Oguntuyi – Ward 7
Adeleye Olufemi Idowu – Ward 9
Eye Grace Mojirade – Ward 10.
Hon. Owolabi charged the appointees to serve with dedication, transparency, and impartiality while focusing on initiatives that directly impact the lives of residents. He emphasized the need for collaboration with the Ondo State Government under Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa to advance the “OUR EASE” agenda—an initiative that promotes good governance, effective service delivery, and socio-economic development.
The Chairman noted that the appointments reflect a balance of experience, competence, and community trust, adding that his administration remains committed to ensuring that local government serves as the foundation for meaningful development in Ondo State.
According to Mr Olagoke Adeyanju Chief Press Secretary to the Executive Chairman ,Akoko Northwest Local Government Area of Ondo State, in a press statement, noted that residents of Akoko Northwest have expressed optimism that the new appointees will bring fresh energy and ideas to local governance, fostering growth and unity across the wards.Even as he emphasised that the appointments takes immediate effect.
