AKOKO NORTH WEST DECLARES STRONG SUPPORT FOR TINUBU’S 2027 RE-ELECTION BID.

The political atmosphere in Ondo State is already gaining momentum ahead of the 2027 general elections as Akoko North West Local Government publicly declared its full support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The meeting which took place in Okeagbe, the headquarters of the local government, was organized to mobilize grassroots support for the president. The event had the strong backing of Ondo State Governor, Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, who has pledged to deliver even more votes for President Tinubu in 2027.

Speaking at the gathering, Hon. Bode Awe, Special Assistant to the Governor on Mobilization, played a pivotal role in bringing together various political groups and supporters on behalf of the governor. He urged participants to intensify their efforts by mobilizing more people for the party and ensuring they secure their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) ahead of the elections.

The event was also coordinated by Comrade Tope Fagbemi, a prominent son of Okeagbe and a well-known grassroots mobilizer. Fagbemi, who has consistently played significant roles in political mobilization since serving as Local Government Coordinator for the Buhari/Osinbajo Support Group in 2015, and later as Acting State Coordinator for the Bola Tinubu Citizen Orientation Movement (PBATCOM), reaffirmed his commitment to progressive politics and community service.
In his remarks, Fagbemi described the meeting as a testament to the unity of purpose among political stakeholders in Akoko North West, stressing that Governor Aiyedatiwa’s unwavering support for President Tinubu reflects the collective will of the people of Ondo State.

Other notable speakers at the gathering included Hon. Gani Muhammed, former Special Adviser to the Governor on Special Duties and Strategy; Hon. Christopher Olorunfemi, Special Adviser to the Governor on Forestry; Mr. Olumide Aliu; Comrade Babatunde Raji Lateef; and Hon. Oluremi Babalola. All speakers pledged their support for Governor Aiyedatiwa’s leadership and reaffirmed their commitment to President Tinubu’s 2027 second-term bid.

The meeting concluded with renewed pledges from the political stakeholders of Akoko North West to deliver massive votes for Tinubu in 2027, further cementing Ondo State’s position as a stronghold of progressive politics.
