On Sunday 7th of July, 2024, Mabysgold homes limited , One of the top leading Real Estate Companies in Nigeria celebrated its fourth year Anniversary. The chief host and Chairman of the Company, Dr. Ashimolowo Ademuyiwa treated all guests, Agents loved ones, Marketers, friends and well wishers
to a sumptuous meal, with a special buffet at Sheraton hotels Ikeja Lagos.
The Chairman, Dr. Ashimolowo expressed gratitude to God for how far they have gone in putting smiles on the faces of low and middle income earners, who are their main targets, and who now own their own homes and are prospering in their various endeavours. At the end of the grandiose , He spoke on the humble beginning of the Real Estate business and how the vision began. Dr.Ashimolowo also spoke on the challenges confronting the Real Estate Business in Lagos and how one can navigate the business without having to burn one’s fingers. Enjoy it.
Congratulations as you Celebrate the fourth Anniversary of Mabysgold Real Estate. What can you say so far in the last four years? How has it been?
We thank God for where he started with us. We thank him for where we are and thank him for where he is taking us to. Its been a worthwhile Experience. With the hope of people seeing reasons why they should become Landlords. We have been able to open up some communities to the outer World. We have even been able to help some Nigerians in Diaspora invest in Nigeria here by buying lands which they were not even willing to do initially because of bad experiences with some Real Estate Companies and even with their own family members. So it has really been a worthwhile experience so far and the vision is much more alive.
How did your journey into Real Estate begin? Was Real Estate your first love?
Of course not. I’m a teacher and a teacher’s son. I have a Ph.D in Education. Generally speaking it’s not my first love. But along the line , it became important that we need to help low income earners on the reality of what Lagos is gradually becoming. There is a need to educate low and middle income earners on the realities of Nigeria of today. On the realities of Lagos, helping them in their journey to become a Landlord. We are very excited about what the future holds for us.
How Challenging has it been so far in the last four years?
For us, Everyday is a Challenge. We are excited for creating new ideas, new challenges, new thoughts, new processes in this journey. The future is bright because for us the vision of God for our lives is bigger than ourselves and that is why in Mabysgold, we are not just selling lands , we are selling prosperity, our main products are prosperity. Prosperity for the land buyers, prosperity for our team members, prosperity for the organizations .And so many people have benefitted from this process and it’s our thought that in a few years time, we will be able to recreate ourselves in so many people you see here today. We are ready to take the challenge.
How affordable is Property in Mabysgold homes limited in all areas you have Estates?
We are the most affordable Company in Nigeria right now. Our Lands are the most affordable because our targets are for the low and middle income earners. We are just affordable in Nigeria right now because we also offer up to fifteen months payment plan for some of our Estates.
A lot of people have fallen into the wrong hands when it comes to buying lands due to different realtors who are into land selling. What can you say about documents relating to lands in order to give confidence to your buyers?
What we do is that we pay serious attention to details for the lands we buy, we pay serious attention to titles of our lands, we do this to protect our clients and their investment. So we are still in the business of turning tenants to landlords, and turning bushes to cities. The city you see today was once a bush and the bushes you see today will become a city in the future.

His vision for low income earners to prosper and have a house of their own came as a teacher’s son , knowing what an average teacher earns and faces in Nigeria and helping them get out of Poverty. Dr. Ashimolowo holds a Ph.D in Education from University of Lagos, Masters and MBA in Education from Lagos State University. A Master Practitioner of Neuro Linguistic Programming and graduate of Daystar leadership Academy. He is a brand strategist as he holds a certificate from Rome business school. A Paul Harris fellow of Rotary Club and a member of a billionaire conclave that mentors people on how to grow their businesses.
