PINKFIELD ACADEMY, SATELLITE TOWN LAGOS, CELEBRATE VALEDICTORY AND END OF SESSION PARTY

On the 18th of July 2024, PinkField ACADEMY Satellite town Lagos celebrated their end of session Party. The event which started with processional hyme with the Proprietress of the school leading the graduands, gave a hearty congratulations to the graduands and the parents.She praised God for another tremendously fulfilling academic session together with parents and loved ones of the school. Below is how the event went.
PINKFIELD ACADEMY SATELLITE TOWN LAGOS.
Pinkfield School is a dynamic school that prides itself for providing an atmosphere that is safe, friendly and conducive for learning. The aim and objectives of the school is to help children develop an awareness of the world around them through working and playing within a variety of topical themes with emphasis on personal growth and self esteem.
On the day of the event, the school was well decorated and the management was fully prepared for the demands ahead of the momentous occasion. Pupils in different classes gave special renditions and presentations to lighten up the day. Presentations such as French presentation, Cultural Dance, Choreography, school choir, and Taekwondo. Thereafter, the teachers, Proprietress and Director gave their speeches. Outstanding pupils also received awards and gifts for their brilliant performance. It was indeed a memorable Event.
ABOUT THE PROPRIETRESS.
Mrs. Osita Ibeke is the Proprietress of PinkField ACADEMY. This very beautiful woman is the brain behind the school.When Radiant Africa Media spoke with her, she told us about the journey so far. ” Well, it has been interesting. God has been with us in this journey. It has been both ups and down, but in everything, God has been faithful”. She said. Considering the many economic challenges in the country, how will you describe the attitude and support of parents of this School? “They have been trying despite the economic situation in the country and the hurdles. My prayer is that God should keep providing for them”.
Not many have the desire for establishing a school for fear of running at a loss, but she said “My late Dad used to be a headmaster while my mum too was a teacher. We have so many teachers in my family both paternal and maternal. Even my elder sister that passed on was a teacher and that inspired me and at a point, I started nursing it and saying to myself that I can do this and I got started.”
Mrs. Ibeke said due to her love for teaching, she went further to get trained in the education line.” Though I have a first degree in Arts, that is in History and International studies, but then I had to do my PGD in Education.”
For every successful man there is a woman and vice versa, how supportive is your husband towards your vision?
“He knows he is my support system because with him and God, it has been awesome. She said “The future of PinkFied Academy for our children that has been nurtured here, is to spread all over the world and by the grace of God, it will go length and breadth of the world,” she concluded.
THE CHAIRMAN TOO.
The Chairman of the school is Mr. Okey Ibeke. He is the Publisher and Editor- in -Chief of business Maritime West Africa. He has been in the Maritime sector for over two decades. He is a complete gentle man. He doesn’t make noise at all and he’s well loved by his Media Colleagues in the Maritime sector. This wonderful man has always been supportive of his amiable wife. He made sure things were put in place to make sure everything went well. Some of his media colleagues who came to grace the occasion are Mr Kingsley, the Publisher of MMS Newspaper, Mr Ojegba the Publisher of Pinnacle Magazine, Dr. Ovie, a Lecturer at Babcock University and the Publisher of South South Magazine to mention just a few.
MEET THE GUEST SPEAKER.
The Guest speaker, Dr. Ovie is a brilliant lecturer from Babcock University. He is also the chairman of the Occasion. A good friend of the Chairman of PinkField Academy, Mr. Okey Ibeke in the Maritime sector as a Journalist. Dr. Ovie in his speech, congratulated the management of the school and particularly the graduands who have excelled in their academics. He spoke about children being the leaders of tomorrow . “The reason why everyone is gathered here today. I can see young ones who want to become somebody in life. I want the management and parents to encourage these children. Parents should not be discouraged with what is happening in the country today,” he added.
At the end, he gave the sum of #10,000 naira each to the best student in English Language and the Overall best student of the school while Mr Kingsley , the Publisher of MMS Newspaper also gave out the sum of #10,000 naira to the best in English language. In his words, he said, “I am always excited anytime I see children doing well in their studies but most especially in English language subject. I used to be a brilliant student in English while I was in school, so for this, I support with #10,000 naira,” he concluded.
However, the head girl, Bolanle Lawal, also admonished the graduands to embrace new experiences, ask questions and seek answers as they journey further in their studies.
