As the Political race for the Ondo House of Assembly gets hotter, a prominent and Frontline politician from Akoko North West Constituency 01 from Erusu Akoko, Asiwaju Temitope Balogun, popularly called Genesis has indicated his interest to contest for the Ondo House of Assembly seat in Akoko North West .
Temotope Balogun,who has since picked and submitted his nomination form amidst praises and support from his teeming supporters in Akoko North West local Government,appears calm and raring to go.
Asiwaju who exhuded confidence and determination affirmed his readiness to contest with other aspirants .. Let’s take a dive into his intimidating personality.

ASIWAJU TEMITOPE BALOGUN (GENESIS) a prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from Erusu-Akoko, Akoko North West Constituency 1, Ward 10, has been dedicated to serving his people close to a decade now. Through his personal efforts and the TMG Foundation, he has been able to make a visible and measurable impact in his community.
From providing aid to those in need to supporting various initiatives that benefit the community,

Justifying his desire to run for the Akoko North House of Assembly seat,TM Balogun argued that: “It is on record that Ikaram-Akoko (Ward 10) has produced both the current Assembly Member and the Honorable Minister of State for Finance, while Erusu-Akoko has not produced a member of the State House of Assembly for over four decades.
“This presents a compelling case for justice, inclusion, and political balance within our constituency.
“Furthermore, considering the existing rotational zoning arrangement, if this opportunity is missed, Ward 10 may have to wait another sixteen (16) years before it comes again. This makes this moment not only important—but critical for our people.
“As a loyal member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for over two decades and a consistent supporter of His Excellency, Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, I have remained committed to strengthening our party through grassroots mobilization, strategic engagement, and community development.
